Last updated October 17, 2026. How Mojave Coyotes handles information.
In short
We do not run user accounts, advertising profiles, or a marketing email list. The site is meant to be read, searched, and left—without creating a profile.
What we collect
You type into the site. Search queries and town filters are used to return results. They may appear in ordinary server or host logs.
Technical logs. Like most sites, our host (currently Railway) and the web server may record IP address, user agent, URL, referrer, and timestamps needed to operate and secure the service.
No account data. We do not ask for names, passwords, payment cards, or government IDs.
Cookies and tracking
How we use information
Logs and query data are used to run the desk, fix bugs, measure load, and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Third parties
Outbound links go to newsrooms, agencies, and reference sites that have their own privacy practices. Our hosting provider processes infrastructure logs under its terms. Desk and wiki content may include material that originated with those third parties; that is publication, not a sale of your data.
Retention
Host logs are kept only as long as needed for operations and security, then rotated or deleted under the host’s defaults unless we must keep them longer for a legal request or abuse investigation.
Children
The site is general-audience local information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
California notes
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are commonly used under the CCPA/CPRA. Because we do not maintain consumer accounts, most “access / delete” requests will only involve whatever transient logs still exist. Reasonable requests can be sent to the site operators.
Changes
We may update this page by posting a new version here. See also our Terms of use.
